What Does Chart Prepared Mean?
Chart Prepared means Indian Railways has finalized the passenger list for the train. After this, confirmed passengers get final coach and berth details, RAC passengers get final RAC position, and online WL tickets are cancelled if not upgraded.
When Is Chart Prepared?
Usually the chart is prepared around 4 hours before train departure from the source station. For early morning trains, the chart may be prepared the previous night.
What Happens to WL Ticket After Chart?
If an online e-ticket remains WL after chart preparation, it is automatically cancelled and refunded. You cannot travel on that e-ticket.
