• PNR Number — Your 10-digit IRCTC ticket reference number
• Mobile Number — Your phone number to send WhatsApp alerts
• Journey Details — Train name, date, and route fetched from the railway API
• Consent and Activity Logs — Subscription source, alert delivery status, scheduler activity, and admin actions needed to operate the service
• Usage Data — Basic analytics like page visits and technical diagnostics

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Check your PNR status from Indian Railways
• Send you WhatsApp alerts when your ticket status changes
• Show last checked and next scheduled check information
• Improve our service and fix technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes.

3. WhatsApp Alerts and Consent

By subscribing, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages from PNR Alert regarding your ticket status, journey reminders, and unsubscribe confirmations. We record consent source and time so we can prove and troubleshoot subscriptions. You can unsubscribe at any time by visiting our Unsubscribe page or replying STOP on WhatsApp.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We retain active subscription data until your journey date has passed or you unsubscribe. Operational logs such as delivery, consent, API usage and scheduler activity may be retained for debugging, abuse prevention and reliability monitoring. We do not store payment information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Twilio — For sending WhatsApp alerts and templates
• RapidAPI — For fetching PNR status from railway data providers
• Supabase — For secure data storage
• Render — For hosting our application

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We strive to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

PNR Alert is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Choices

You can stop alerts using the unsubscribe page or WhatsApp STOP command. For data deletion requests, contact support@pnralert.in with the phone number and PNR you used.
