How to Buy During IRCTC Booking
During the ticket booking process on IRCTC, after entering passenger details, you will see: 'Do you want to purchase travel insurance?' with a checkbox and the premium amount. Click 'Yes' and complete payment — the insurance premium is added to your ticket fare. You will receive a policy document via email/SMS.
How to Make a Claim
In case of accident/injury: Call the insurance company's helpline (number on your policy document). File FIR at nearest police station. Collect hospital/medical bills. Submit claim form within 30 days of incident. For baggage loss: File FIR, submit railway authority complaint acknowledgement, and fill claim form.
Exclusions
