How Namo Bharat Differs from Delhi Metro and Indian Railways
Delhi Metro serves city areas up to ~60 km at 80 km/h. Namo Bharat serves the NCR region at 160 km/h — ideal for Ghaziabad and Meerut commuters. Indian Railways covers the whole country with overnight and long-distance travel. Namo Bharat fills the gap for regional rapid transit that is faster than metro but shorter than long-haul trains.
RRTS PNR and Ticket Status
Namo Bharat uses its own ticketing system (RRTS app, station kiosks, and smart cards) — not IRCTC. PNR status check on pnralert.in applies to Indian Railways trains only, not RRTS.
